Nearly 10 years ago, right here, I officially announced that my rabbity was closing.
It was a hard decision, but it was something that needed to be done. I dispersed the herd, keeping a few pets. Over the years, those pets have passed away. The prefix Keep's has disappeared from pedigrees.
I never forgot the bunnies. I have lost track of how many dreams I've had about showing.
I'm really excited to announce that Keep's Rabbitry is back! -with one small caveat.
My daughter, Harper, will be showing! Today we picked up the first of her rabbits, a small group of Mini Lops. That's right, Keep's is going to the lops! I look forward to getting back to the shows and mentoring Harper in the ways of showing, breeding and being a good competitor.
I have to admit, if she decides showing is something she loves as much as I did, perhaps in the future woolies will make their way back to the barn! Time will tell.
