I'm on vacation, which is why I haven't posted in a while.
We got a call last night that one rabbit wasn't doing well. She had stopped eating and drinking. So, the dull edge of worry turned up full blown. It was late when we got the message, so we knew she wouldn't get any help until the next day.
Then comes the "What can we do?" Without being able to examine her ourselves, we had to figure out the cause of why she's not eating and drinking.
The best we could come up with was generic- move her to a carrier in the house, give her some extra oats and hay, put her water in a bowl. A catch all for what ails, you know?
A call this morning had me twitching- I was worried it would be the post-mortem call. Instead, she's fine! The doe decided to eat and drink again and since she's looking normal, the sitters decided to leave her where she is.
Thankfully! Now the worry can go back to a dull roar :)

I'm glad the doe decided to cooperate for your pet sitter! One less thing to worry about.
