We lost two baby bunnies last night. Even though they were well over a week old and had good amounts of fur, two of Chapel Hill's babies left the nestbox and froze last night :(. This leaves me with only a single baby left in her litter.
I guess I should be thankful that at least one had the sense not to creep out of the box.
I hate when I lose the babies at this age- you think you're home free until weaning because they are furred and have made it this long, then it gets cold and bam, you lose a few :(.
